All fans of Harry Potter and Minecraft finally waited for the Witchcraft and Wizardry map – Something that The Floo Network enthusiasts had been working on for more than five years. Not only famous buildings are reproduced here, but also a full-fledged plot is realized, as well as the ability to cast spells and use various magical objects.
Despite the fact that the map is only at the alpha testing stage, it already looks better than many full-fledged Harry Potter games. This map has its own resource pack as well (it is built-in and does not require separate installation) featuring a unique control system. The plot is similar to the original story and this map also begins with a letter from Hogwarts, followed by a shopping trip to Diagon Alley and departing from platform 9 ¾.
In the game, you can visit Hogwarts and its environs, the streets of London, Hogsmeade and other familiar locations. You will meet many recognizable characters in the process, complete with dialogues as you interact with them. The Floo Network team had also Implemented a new inventory system and quest journal. There are so many changes that only the cubic style of the world reminds of Minecraft.
Despite the huge amount of time and effort spent, the developers gives out the map absolutely free. However, everyone can thank them at https://gumroad.com/l/floomap. You can also download a lightweight version of the map for weak PCs, as well as an automatic installer for those who do not want to do manual installation.
