Custom NPCs mod presents you this capabilities – Allowing you to create unique in-game NPCs with complete customization and freedom to edit them at every aspect and purpose once applied.
But before you do so, you’ll need to craft the NPC Wand item so that you can spawn new villagers or clone existing ones. You won’t be able to customize cloned villagers unless they’ve been created by you through this method so you can just drop cloned villagers or NPCs anywhere however you like.
Now comes the fun part – Editing your NPC’s stats. This lets you set perks and assign various purposes within a convenient and intuitive GUI that also explain what each function does. With this, you can make these custom NPCs simple traders, armed guards or something else entirely. You’re the master of your own domain!
The Custom NPCs are incredibly customizable to look however you want. Any mob model is available to you including Golems, Zombies, spiders, and even customizable player models to edit to your will.
Once you’ve got your NPCs setup you can even add quests to the game. Control what your NPC is wanting you to do or find and set the rewards upon completion. This adds a new layer of Minecraft becoming a true RPG. Create a world for you and your friends, load it up with villagers and tradesman, and have an adventure while also building experience.
